At WestWind Stables, we teach all levels of Western horsemanship and English equitation to students from 8 years old to adults. Our riding instructor, Shari has over 25 years of teaching experience and the lesson program is individually designed to fit each student's needs and interests. Our riding instructor, Jennifer is a 4H horse judge, trains and shows Paint Horses and is a great instructor. Whatever type of lessons you are looking for you can find at WestWind Stables, Inc.
Now is a great time to learn to ride. All of our lesson horses are well trained and are great teachers. Several of our horses have been rescued and rehabilitated and love lots of attention.
Every student at WestWind Stables starts with an Orieintation Lesson. At this lesson, you will learn horse safety rules, how to groom a horse and how to saddle and bridle a horse. You do not ride a horse during the orientation lesson hour.
If you would like to ride the same day you have orientation, you can attend a Beginning Horsemanship group lesson the hour after the orientation lesson.
